Love this place! Best fillets of fish you can get in Oahu! SO FRESH! My personal favorite is the blackened Mahi-Mahi. So delicious and savory. They have lots of styles if you don't like spicy/cajun. Try buttered or other styles they offer. Recommend any fish native to Hawaii. BEST TARTAR SAUCE TOO!! House made. Staff and service are on top of it. Very friendly. Long line to order so prepare ahead of time. Ambiance is pleasant.

My Go To place for excellent fish! It doesn't matter if it's for lunch or dinner... you can't go wrong here. The staff is great and tables are clean. I recommend the Opakapaka (snapper) Cajun style! Aloha!

food is great! the fish is fresh, i recommend everyone try the fresh catch plate if you come here. I would skip the fish and chips and taco. I think the fresh catch plate is their star dish. just a quick reminder to specify the plate you intend on ordering since it'll automatically be put in as a dinner plate. If you like a grilled flavor with just salt and pepper, get it charbroiled. If you like it charbroiled with cajun seasoning , get the cajun spiced the blackened was the same seasoning as the cajun spice but instead it's cooked on an iron skillet. I felt like the flavor was more present in the blackened since the the fish is soaking up all the flavor in the skillet. Ono fish was on the meatier side while the Mahi Mahi reminded me of flaky white fish. If you like salmon, it's like a meatier version of salmon but softer than the ono. NOTE: Make sure to specify which plate you want to order either lunch or dinner. I'm not sure if it's an all around rule or this just happened to me specifically. I ordered at 11:30am and all the orders were out in as dinner plates. I don't mind the price difference but I was confused that I was automatically charged for dinner when it was lunch time. I asked the worker who helped us and she said all orders are charged as dinner unless specified which I thought was weird. I wish there was a sign that told me I had to specify or if the worker could ask if I wanted the lunch or dinner. I would assume if I'm eating at lunch time, it would automatically be the lunch price unless I specified that I wanted the dinner plate. If that's the case, would I be able to order the lunch plate at 6pm if I didn't have a big appetite? either way i didn't mind the extra fish, it was just a big meal for lunch since i was expecting to get the lunch plate.
